About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Remote Network Infrastructure Specialist to join their expanding IT team, supporting operations across various locations. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. You will work closely with IT leadership and other technical teams to manage network hardware, software, and connectivity solutions.

- Design, deploy, and manage robust network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize speed and efficiency.
- Ensure the security of the network by implementing and maintaining security protocols and intrusion detection systems.
- Provide remote technical support for network-related issues and troubleshoot connectivity problems.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, procedures, and policies.
- Stay current with emerging network technologies and recommend upgrades or new solutions.
- Proven experience in network administration and infrastructure management.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and network security principles.
- Experience with cloud networking platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Relevant industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills for diagnosing complex network issues.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for a remote-first environment.
