We are looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst with strong EDI and integration experience to join a project on an initial 6-9-month contract, Outside IR35. This is a technically focused Business Analyst role where hands-on experience of EDI, system integrations, data mapping and data flows is essential. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams, developers, suppliers and external EDI partners, translating business requirements into clear technical requirements and development tasks.

Strong EDI experience is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and document EDI and system-to-system integrations.
• Work with UBL, EDIFACT, XML, APIs and data mappings.
• Understand the business meaning and semantics behind data.
• Work with suppliers, EDI partners, developers and internal technical teams.
• Produce detailed requirements, user stories and development tasks.
• Support integration testing, on-boarding and implementation.
• Challenge ambiguous requirements and make sensible assumptions.
