About the Role

Our client is seeking an analytical and results-driven Senior SEO Specialist to join their growing digital marketing team, operating remotely to support their Nelspruit
-based initiatives. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive search engine optimization strategies to increase organic search rankings, drive website traffic, and improve conversion rates. This role requires a deep understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization techniques, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. You will work closely with content creators, developers, and marketing managers to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across all digital efforts.

• Conduct thorough keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for organic growth.
• Develop and implement on-page optimization strategies, including meta tags, content optimization, and internal linking.
• Execute off-page SEO strategies, focusing on link building, digital PR, and local SEO where applicable.
• Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush) to track rankings, traffic, and conversions.
• Collaborate with web development teams to ensure technical SEO best practices are implemented on the website.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices, providing insights and recommendations to the team.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in SEO, with a track record of successfully increasing organic search visibility.
• Expertise in keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, and link-building strategies.
• Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive strategic decisions.
