A leading organization is seeking a Data Privacy Analyst to review and improve data privacy practices, policies, and procedures. The role involves ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and protecting organizational data assets. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct data protection impact assessments and audits to evaluate compliance with privacy laws and internal policies.
- Monitor and analyze changes in privacy regulations to recommend updates to policies and practices.
- Develop and maintain data privacy documentation, including privacy notices, consent forms, and records of processing activities.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to assess data handling processes and recommend technical safeguards.
- Report findings and recommendations to stakeholders and provide guidance on privacy best practices.
Qualifications:
- Experience in data privacy compliance, including GDPR, CCPA, or other regional regulations.
- Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and audits related to data protection.
- Strong understanding of data privacy frameworks, policies, and governance structures.
- Ability to analyze complex regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable policies.
- Familiarity with data security principles and technical controls for protecting personal data.
