About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Data Scientist specializing in AI/ML to join their innovative team, working remotely from Pretoria or anywhere in South Africa. This role is critical for developing and implementing advanced analytical models that drive strategic decision-making and product innovation. You will leverage vast datasets to uncover insights, build predictive models, and develop AI-driven solutions.

• Develop, train, and deploy machine learning models to solve complex business problems.
• Perform in-depth data analysis, feature engineering, and statistical modeling on large datasets.

• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI, and apply them to practical applications.

• Master's or Ph.D. in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist with a focus on AI/ML.
• Proficiency in Python or R, and strong experience with data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, Num Py, Scikit-learn).
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., Tensor Flow, PyTorch) and big data technologies.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
