Senior Data Analyst - Insider Risk

Help protect Nationwide by turning complex colleague, security and risk data into earlier insight on insider risk.

As a Senior Data Analyst in the Insider Risk team, you’ll set the direction and deliver how we connect data from across Security, Fraud, People, Legal, Technology, Physical Security and to identify emerging risk patterns and support better decisions.

You’ll use tools such as SQL, Python, Power BI or equivalent technologies to transform fragmented information into clear, actionable intelligence — helping Nationwide detect, prevent and respond to workforce-related risk.

Working with specialists across Nationwide and Virgin Money, you’ll support investigations, strengthen controls, shape monitoring capability and influence how we manage insider risk across a changing organisation.

This is a 12-month secondment opportunity.

For this role, you'll be based at your nearest regional office or hub. We value time spent together to connect with colleagues for collaboration so there will be a regular requirement to attend our London, Swindon or Glasgow site approximately month
. If you are based at an office location, you'll be expected to meet our hybrid working requirement of at least two days a week, or 40% of your working time if part-time, in the office.
If you’re based at our Glasgow office, this will apply from 1 April 2027 and ahead of that there will be a need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration events. If your application is successful, your hiring manager will provide further details on how this works.
