About the Role
Our client is looking for a skilled Project Manager to spearhead IT infrastructure projects in Tembisa . You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects related to network upgrades, data center management, and cloud migrations. This role requires a blend of technical understanding and strong project management acumen to ensure seamless integration and minimal disruption to business operations. The successful candidate will work closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable infrastructure solutions that support the company's strategic objectives, ensuring all deliverables meet high standards of performance and security.
Key Responsibilities- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for IT infrastructure projects.
- Manage project execution, including resource allocation, task management, and risk mitigation.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams, vendors, and business units to ensure alignment and timely progress.
- Oversee the implementation of new IT infrastructure components and technologies in the Gauteng region.
- Conduct project post-mortems to identify lessons learned and best practices for future IT initiatives.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management , with a focus on infrastructure.
- Proven ability to manage complex IT projects, including network, server, and cloud technologies.
- Strong understanding of ITIL principles and agile methodologies.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience working with distributed teams and managing project stakeholders in Tembisa .
