About the Role
Our client is building a team dedicated to responsible AI development and is seeking a Senior AI Ethics and Governance Specialist to join them in a fully remote capacity. This crucial role will involve developing and implementing frameworks, policies, and guidelines to ensure our AI systems are developed and deployed ethically, fairly, and transparently. You will work at the forefront of AI governance, advising research and engineering teams on potential risks and mitigation strategies, and championing responsible innovation across the organization.

- Develop and implement robust AI ethics policies, principles, and governance frameworks.
- Conduct ethical risk assessments for AI projects and provide actionable recommendations.

- Stay current with evolving AI regulations, ethical standards, and best practices globally.
- Develop training materials and conduct workshops to promote AI ethics awareness and literacy across the organization.
- Collaborate with legal, policy, and engineering teams to ensure compliance and responsible AI deployment.
- Advanced degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Law, Computer Science, or a related field with a strong focus on AI ethics.
- 5+ years of experience in AI ethics, responsible AI, technology policy, or a related field.
- Demonstrated understanding of machine learning concepts and their ethical implications.
- Experience developing policy frameworks and conducting ethical reviews.
- Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ethical concepts clearly.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, fast-paced environment.
