Information Security Architect

About the Role

Our client is looking for a visionary Information Security Architect to design and implement robust, scalable security solutions for their organization, operating in a fully remote capacity. This strategic role involves defining the enterprise security architecture, guiding technology selection, and ensuring that security is embedded into the design of all IT systems and infrastructure. • Define and maintain the enterprise information security architecture strategy and roadmap.
• Design secure solutions for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises infrastructure.

• Develop security standards, guidelines, and best practices for application development, network design, and data protection.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business units to ensure security requirements are met throughout the system lifecycle.

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in information security, with a significant focus on security architecture.
• Proven experience designing and implementing security solutions in complex, distributed environments.
• Deep understanding of security principles, frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001), and technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption, IAM).
• Experience with cloud security architecture and best practices.
