About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and results-oriented Marketing Data Analyst to join their expanding marketing team in Centurion, Gauteng . This pivotal role involves diving deep into marketing data to extract actionable insights that will inform strategic decisions, optimize campaign performance, and drive business growth. You will be responsible for measuring the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and identifying opportunities for improvement across all channels.
This position offers a fantastic opportunity to work with complex datasets, utilize advanced analytical tools, and contribute significantly to the data-driven culture of the organization, with potential for remote work flexibility.
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various marketing channels, including website analytics, campaign data, and customer databases.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key marketing performance indicators (KPIs) and trends for stakeholders.
- Perform in-depth analysis to understand customer behavior, campaign effectiveness, and marketing ROI.
- Identify patterns and opportunities for optimization in marketing strategies, budget allocation, and customer segmentation.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to define measurement frameworks and ensure accurate data tracking.
- Present findings and strategic recommendations clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Marketing Analytics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- 3+ years of experience in a marketing analytics or data analysis role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Experience with statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
