About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and tech-savvy Logistics Systems Administrator to manage and optimize their suite of logistics and supply chain software solutions for their fully remote operations. This role is critical for ensuring the seamless functioning of our Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and other related platforms. You will be responsible for system configuration, user support, data integrity, and implementing enhancements to improve operational efficiency.
This fully remote position requires strong technical acumen and a deep understanding of logistics processes.
- Administer, configure, and maintain logistics software systems (WMS, TMS, etc.).
- Provide technical support and training to end-users across the organization.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within logistics systems through regular audits and validation.
- Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with IT teams and software vendors to implement system upgrades and new features.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures.
- Proven experience as a Systems Administrator , preferably with a focus on logistics or supply chain software.
- In-depth knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and/or Transportation Management Systems (TMS) .
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills and experience with database management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills for supporting remote users and collaborating with technical teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
