About the Role

Our client is looking for a vigilant and technically skilled Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst to join their growing cybersecurity team. Operating remotely, this role is at the forefront of detecting, analyzing, and responding to cyber threats in real-time. You will be responsible for monitoring security alerts, performing initial triage, and escalating critical incidents to ensure minimal impact on the organization.

• Monitor security alerts and events from various sources, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and EDR tools.
• Perform initial analysis and triage of security alerts to determine their severity and scope.
• Respond to and document security incidents according to established procedures.
• Escalate critical security incidents to senior analysts or incident response teams.
• Maintain and update SOC playbooks and standard operating procedures.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of SOC detection capabilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a SOC or similar security operations role.
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms and security monitoring concepts.
• Understanding of common cyber threats, attack vectors, and mitigation techniques.
• Basic knowledge of network protocols and operating systems.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
