About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Cloud Security Specialist to join their expanding security team, offering a fully remote working arrangement. This role is crucial for ensuring the security and compliance of their cloud infrastructure across various platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust cloud security controls, policies, and procedures to protect against sophisticated threats.

• Design, implement, and maintain security solutions for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), including IAM, network security, and data protection.
• Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Monitor cloud environments for security threats, vulnerabilities, and compliance deviations, implementing timely remediation.
• Conduct security reviews of cloud architectures, deployments, and configurations.
• Respond to cloud security incidents, performing forensic analysis and coordinating recovery efforts.
• Collaborate with Dev Ops and engineering teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native applications.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in cloud security architecture, implementation, and management, specifically with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Deep understanding of cloud security best practices, shared responsibility models, and common cloud threats.
• Experience with cloud security tools, such as CASB, CWPP, CSPM, and native cloud security services.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and their security implications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication abilities for a remote team setting.
