About the Role
Our client seeks a meticulous E-commerce Platform Administrator to join their team in Stellenbosch . This hybrid role involves managing and maintaining the company's e-commerce website and systems to ensure optimal performance and a seamless user experience. You will be responsible for product catalog management, website updates, and technical troubleshooting to support online sales operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical aptitude and a passion for e-commerce to play a key role in the digital success of our client.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and update product listings, including descriptions, pricing, images, and inventory levels on the e-commerce platform.
- Ensure the website is functioning correctly, performing regular checks for bugs, broken links, and performance issues.
- Implement website updates, including theme changes, plugin installations, and content modifications.
- Monitor website traffic, sales data, and customer behavior using analytics tools to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Provide technical support for internal users and assist in resolving customer-facing technical issues.
- Collaborate with the web development team on new features and functionalities.
- Proven experience as an E-commerce Administrator , Webmaster, or similar role.
- Proficiency with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or Woo Commerce.
- Strong understanding of website management, content management systems (CMS), and basic HTML/CSS.
- Experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach to tasks.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
