About the Role
Our client is looking for an innovative and experienced Cloud Network Architect to join their fully remote team. This pivotal role involves designing, implementing, and managing our client's cloud-based network infrastructure across multiple platforms. You will be instrumental in ensuring the security, scalability, and performance of our cloud environments, supporting the company's global operations from your home office. This position offers the unique opportunity to shape the future of our client's network architecture, working with a team that embraces a remote-first culture, fostering collaboration and expertise across geographical boundaries.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud network solutions on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Develop and maintain network infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Cloud Formation.
- Monitor cloud network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.
- Ensure network security best practices are implemented and maintained, including VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
- Provide expert guidance on cloud networking strategies and emerging technologies to stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years focused on cloud networking .
- In-depth knowledge of major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) networking services (VPC, VNet, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and distributed systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, suited for a remote work environment.
