About the Role
Our client is seeking an innovative Blockchain Solutions Architect to join their dynamic team in Durban . In this role, you will be responsible for designing and guiding the implementation of cutting-edge blockchain solutions tailored to meet specific business needs. You will play a crucial role in translating complex requirements into scalable, secure, and efficient blockchain architectures. This hybrid position allows for flexibility, combining focused work from home with collaborative sessions in our Durban office, ensuring optimal productivity and team engagement.
You will work with a group of passionate professionals dedicated to leveraging blockchain technology for transformative business outcomes.
- Design end-to-end blockchain solutions, including network topology, consensus mechanisms, and data models.
- Evaluate and select appropriate blockchain platforms and technologies for different use cases.
- Develop architectural blueprints, technical specifications, and integration strategies.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with blockchain implementations, ensuring security and compliance.
- 7+ years of experience in software architecture and design, with at least 3 years focused on blockchain technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of various blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger, Corda) and their respective strengths and weaknesses.
- Experience with smart contract design patterns and security best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with blockchain solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
