CBE is seeking a Temporary GIS Specialist to provide vital GIS data management and mapping services. The position requires collaboration with the Planning department and includes drafting reliable maps, statistical analyses, and enrollment projections. With an emphasis on autonomy and teamwork, this role plays a key part in enhancing educational planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Produce accurate statistical data analysis for various projects
• Support planning functions with demographic studies and projections
• Design custom maps for publications and presentations
• Maintain lists of communities and their school data
• Create web maps and dashboards for internal and external use
Requirements:
• Degree in GIS, planning, or related field
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro and GIS concepts
• Experience with scripting in SQL or Python
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills
