Our client is actively recruiting a highly skilled Remote Telecoms Network Security Specialist to bolster their cybersecurity defenses. Your expertise will be vital in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures, monitoring network traffic for suspicious activities, and responding effectively to security incidents.

• Design, implement, and manage network security solutions, including firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDPS), and VPNs.
• Monitor network traffic and security logs for potential threats and vulnerabilities, performing timely analysis and response.
• Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in the network infrastructure.
• Respond to and manage security incidents, including investigation, containment, and remediation efforts.
• Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies relevant to telecommunications networks .

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in network security, with a strong focus on telecoms environments .
• Proficiency with security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM tools, and endpoint security.
• Understanding of network protocols and common attack vectors.
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are highly preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
