Service Now - CMDB Admin (Remote role in the US)
NTT DATA Services is seeking a Service Now - CMDB Admin (Remote role in the US) to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US). This is a remote role in the US. Must be able to work MST time zone. Only GC or US Citizens will be considered.
Service Now CMDB Administrator Role Summary
The Service Now CMDB Administrator is responsible for maintaining the integrity, governance, and operational effectiveness of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). This role ensures accurate configuration item data, supports Service Mapping and Discovery initiatives, and enables ITSM and Asset Management processes through reliable configuration management practices.
• Administer and maintain the Service Now CMDB and data model.
• Manage CMDB governance, standards, and data quality processes.
• Monitor Configuration Item (CI) accuracy and compliance.
• Support Discovery, Service Mapping, and CMDB integrations.
• Maintain CI classes, relationships, and identification rules.
• Perform audits, reconciliation, and remediation activities.
• Develop CMDB dashboards and health reports.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams.
• Support ITSM and Asset Management processes using CMDB data.
• Troubleshoot CMDB issues and drive continuous improvement.
Basic Qualifications
• 3+ years of Service Now administration experience.
• 2+ years of CMDB administration experience including:
• Knowledge of CSDM, Discovery, and Service Mapping
• Experience with data governance and CI lifecycle management.
Preferred Qualifications:
Analytical and troubleshooting skills
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in IT or related field.
Experience with reporting and dashboard creation
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Certifications
Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) (Required)
Service Now Certified Implementations Specialist (CIS) – Data Foundations (Required)
Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – Discovery (preferred)
Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - Service Mapping (preferred)
ITIL Foundation Certification (preferred)
Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this role is $71,000-$120,000. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
