IT Support Specialist

The Associate Specialist, Desktop Systems supports day-to-day end-user computing by maintaining workstations, peripherals, and standard software, resolving routine technical issues, and completing well-defined service requests under close supervision. This role focuses on delivering reliable, high-quality desktop support so Zillow employees can work productively and securely.

• Respond to and resolve routine desktop support requests for hardware, operating systems, and standard applications, escalating non-routine issues as needed.
• Configure, deploy, and decommission laptops, desktops, and peripherals by following established imaging, setup, and security procedures.
• Perform basic troubleshooting for network connectivity, printing, and account access issues, documenting steps taken and outcomes in the ticketing system.
• Complete well-defined maintenance tasks such as software installs, updates, and basic device checks in line with standard operating procedures.
• Maintain accurate asset and configuration information for end-user devices to support inventory tracking and lifecycle management.
• This role requires working Eastern Time (ET) hours.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. "Remote" employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $28.70 - $45.90 hourly. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other  Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Virginia the standard base pay range for this role is $27.30 - $43.50 hourly.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. Employees in this role will not be paid below the salary threshold for exempt employees in the state where they reside.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of experience in desktop support, end-user computing, or a related technical support role.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
