About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Data Scientist specializing in Machine Learning to join their fully remote team. This role is instrumental in leveraging vast datasets to develop predictive models and insights that drive business strategy. You will work on challenging projects, collaborate with product and engineering teams, and contribute to the development of intelligent features. The ideal candidate is passionate about data, possesses strong analytical and programming skills, and thrives in a remote, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and deploy machine learning models for various applications, including prediction, classification, and anomaly detection.
- Clean, process, and analyze large, complex datasets from multiple sources.
- Develop and implement robust data pipelines and feature engineering techniques.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data science problems.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence.
- Communicate complex findings and model results clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist with a focus on machine learning.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and ML libraries (e.g., Tensor Flow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Experience with SQL and working with large datasets.
- Solid understanding of statistical modeling, data mining, and algorithm development.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in distributed teams.
