Remote Senior Telecoms Network Architect

Our client is seeking a highly accomplished and strategic Remote Senior Telecoms Network Architect to lead the design and evolution of their global network infrastructure. This is a premier opportunity for an experienced architect to work entirely remotely, influencing critical decisions that impact connectivity and service delivery worldwide. You will be responsible for developing roadmaps, defining standards, and ensuring the scalability, security, and resilience of our client's advanced telecoms systems.

• Develop and maintain the long-term strategic vision and architecture for the company's telecommunications network.
• Design complex, high-availability network solutions, encompassing routing, switching, security, and IP services.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, providing recommendations for adoption and integration.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams, product management, and business units to translate requirements into robust technical designs.
• Establish and enforce network standards, policies, and best practices across the organization.
• Lead technical discussions, provide expert guidance, and mentor junior architects and engineers.

• Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in network architecture and design, with a significant focus on large-scale telecoms environments.
• Expert-level knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), MPLS, SDN/NFV, cloud networking (AWS, Azure), and security architectures.
• Demonstrated experience in architecting solutions for 5G, IoT, and other advanced communication services.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
