Lead Cybersecurity Architect

Our client is seeking an visionary and highly experienced Lead Cybersecurity Architect to spearhead the design and implementation of their advanced security infrastructure. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere while shaping the future of cybersecurity for a progressive organization. You will be responsible for defining the security architecture blueprint, ensuring it is robust, scalable, and resilient against a wide range of sophisticated cyber threats.

• Design and evolve the enterprise-wide cybersecurity architecture , ensuring alignment with business goals and risk tolerance.
• Define security standards, guidelines, and best practices for the organization's technology stack.
• Lead the selection and integration of new security technologies and solutions.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive security reference architecture, including network security, application security, and data security.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure security is embedded into the design and deployment of systems and services.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the cybersecurity team.

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., CISSP-ISSAP, TOGAF) are a significant advantage.
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on security architecture and design.
• Proven expertise in designing secure solutions for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises infrastructure.
• In-depth knowledge of various security domains, including identity and access management, encryption, network security, and threat modeling.
• Experience with security frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, and zero-trust principles.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
