About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Educational Technology Consultant to advise educational institutions on leveraging technology to enhance teaching and learning. This role involves assessing current technological infrastructures, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending innovative solutions. You will work closely with administrators, faculty, and IT departments to develop strategic technology plans and facilitate successful implementation. This hybrid position requires on-site client engagement in Randburg , balanced with remote work, offering a dynamic consulting experience.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing educational technology systems and infrastructure.
- Develop strategic recommendations for technology integration, deployment, and utilization.
- Advise on the selection and implementation of Learning Management Systems (LMS), digital tools, and hardware.
- Provide training and professional development to educators and staff on effective technology use.
- Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless system integration and support.
- Stay current with emerging educational technology trends and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Education Technology, Computer Science, or a related field;
Master's preferred. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in educational technology consulting or implementation.
- Deep understanding of various LMS platforms, educational software, and hardware solutions.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver impactful consulting services.
- Willingness to travel for on-site client meetings and engagements in the Randburg area and beyond.
