Lead UI​/UX Designer

Our client is seeking an experienced and user-focused Lead UI/UX Designer to join their fully remote team, working from Nelspruit . This role is responsible for crafting intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing user interfaces and experiences across their digital platforms. You will lead the design process from concept to implementation, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable user journey. The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user research, wire framing, prototyping, and visual design, with a passion for creating user-centered solutions in a distributed work environment.

• Lead the design and implementation of user interfaces and user experiences for web and mobile applications.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze feedback to inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business goals.
• Mentor junior designers and advocate for user-centered design principles within the team.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in UI/UX Design , with at least 2 years in a lead or senior capacity.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).
• Strong understanding of user research methodologies, interaction design, and visual design principles.
• Experience designing for complex applications and collaborating with remote engineering teams.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing successful UI/UX design projects is required.
