Senior Information Security Officer

Our client is looking for a seasoned Senior Information Security Officer to join their team in a 100% remote capacity. This role is critical in providing expert guidance and operational support for the organization's cybersecurity program. You will be responsible for implementing and managing security controls, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations. • Implement, manage, and maintain a range of information security controls and technologies.
• Lead the detection, investigation, and response to security incidents and cyber threats.
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures across the organization.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing, and manage remediation efforts.
• Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations and industry best practices.
• Provide security guidance and support to other departments and stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in information security or cybersecurity roles, with a focus on operational security.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and vulnerability scanners.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to manage security incidents effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for a remote role.
