Senior Blockchain Security Engineer

Our client is actively seeking a highly skilled and security-conscious Senior Blockchain Security Engineer to join their elite, fully remote team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our client's blockchain infrastructure, protocols, and decentralized applications. You will play a vital part in identifying and mitigating potential threats, conducting rigorous security assessments, and developing proactive security measures.

• Conduct comprehensive security audits and penetration tests on blockchain protocols , smart contracts, and dApps.
• Identify vulnerabilities, threats, and risks within the blockchain ecosystem and develop mitigation strategies.
• Design and implement robust security frameworks, policies, and procedures for blockchain development and operations.
• Monitor blockchain networks for suspicious activities and respond promptly to security incidents.
• Develop secure coding guidelines and provide security training to development teams.
• Research emerging security threats and vulnerabilities in the blockchain space and implement preventative measures.

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in information security, with a minimum of 3 years focused on blockchain security .
• Deep understanding of blockchain architecture, cryptography, smart contract security, and common attack vectors.
• Proficiency in security auditing tools, static/dynamic analysis, and vulnerability assessment techniques.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for security automation and analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
