Our client, a leading financial technology company supporting a federal payments program, is seeking an Azure Platform Engineer to join their cloud engineering team. As an Azure Platform Engineer, you will be part of a growing organization building out a new Azure environment, not maintaining legacy systems. The ideal candidate will have strong ownership, clear communication, and a calm approach to production incidents, which will align successfully in the organization.

What you'll do:
Build and maintain Azure landing zones and platform services. Write Terraform modules and CI/CD pipelines. Implement observability and security guardrails. Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation, leading triage and root cause analysis.
What you bring:
5 to 7 years supporting Azure in production. Hands‑on Terraform authoring. Azure networking and security (VNet, Private Endpoints, Key Vault, RBAC, Entra ). Git Hub Actions or Azure Dev Ops. Power Shell or Python. Azure Government and Azure certifications are a plus.
Requirements: US Citizen or Green Card holder with 3+ years of continuous US residence. Must pass a federal background check.
