AI Engineer

Are you ready to bridge the gap between advanced algorithms and tangible business value? As a Senior AI Engineer at Randstad Digital, you will be the architect of the next digital transformation. What makes us unique is our close strategic partnership with Google for Gemini-AI. This means you will be at the forefront of the latest developments and have access to technologies before the rest of the market.

What you will do

• Your role as a Senior AI Engineer is twofold: you will work on high-impact projects for our clients and help build the future of Randstad itself.
• Internal AI-Lab:
Play a key role in expanding our own internal AI-Lab, where we experiment with the latest Google technologies to transform our own processes.
• Client Innovation:
Design and build scalable AI solutions like Generative AI, LLMs, and RAG for top organizations across various sectors.
• Knowledge Flywheel:
Use the hands-on Gemini-AI experience gained in our AI-Lab to advise clients on a strategic level.
• Full-cycle Development:
Deploy models safely and ethically in complex cloud environments, handling everything from Proof of Concept (PoC) to MLOps.
• Stakeholder Management:
Explain the why behind AI models to stakeholders at a strategic level.

We are looking for a tech specialist with an entrepreneurial mindset who thrives in a pioneering environment.

• 5+ years of relevant working experience as an AI Engineer or Data Scientist.
• Professional English language skills. Understanding conversational Dutch on the shop floor is a massive advantage.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience fine-tuning LLMs and a strong affinity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Gemini.
• Excellent coding skills in Python and modern frameworks like Lang Chain, PyTorch, or Tensor Flow.

• Proactive with commercial skills.
• Subject matter expert with a leading role.
• Strong communication and advisory skills.

Employment conditions We highly value transparent and specific employment conditions to ensure you know exactly what to expect:

• A gross monthly salary between €4,200 and €6,000 based on a 40-hour workweek.
• A one-year contract for 36 hours a week, with the clear intention of offering a permanent contract.
• An individual choice budget (IKB) of 8.76% of your salary to use flexibly, plus 25 vacation days.
• Excellent travel allowance (NS-Business card or €0.23 per km) and extra allowances for internet, phone, and home office setup.
• A free Gemini Google AI Pro account, sabbatical arrangements, solid pension scheme at ASR Capital, and unlimited access to over 3,000 courses via the Randstad Professional Academy.
