Remote Automotive Cybersecurity Analyst

Our client is seeking a vigilant and skilled Remote Automotive Cybersecurity Analyst to safeguard their connected vehicle platforms and associated infrastructure. In this critical role, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities within the automotive ecosystem. This is a fully remote position, enabling you to leverage your expertise in cybersecurity to protect sensitive data and ensure the integrity of vehicle systems, contributing to a secure future for mobility from your own workspace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor networks and systems for security breaches, intrusions, and malicious activities.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on automotive software, hardware, and communication systems.
  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices to protect against cyber threats.
  • Respond to security incidents, investigate their causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Analyze threat intelligence and stay updated on emerging cybersecurity risks and trends relevant to the automotive industry
    .
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security measures throughout the product development lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis, preferably with a focus on embedded systems or the automotive sector
    .
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, network security, cryptography, and threat modeling.
  • Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, and firewalls.
  • Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, UDS, Ethernet) and their security implications.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, essential for effective collaboration in a remote setting
