Remote Data Analyst - Mining Intelligence

Our client is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join their globally distributed team, working remotely and focusing on mining intelligence. This role is central to transforming vast amounts of operational and geological data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the company. You will develop and maintain dashboards, create reports, and perform in-depth analysis to identify trends, efficiencies, and potential risks within our mining operations.

• Collect, clean, and process large datasets from various mining operations and systems.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Perform statistical analysis and data mining to identify key trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver relevant insights.
• Document data sources, methodologies, and findings clearly and concisely.

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably with exposure to the mining or resources sector .
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Advanced skills in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis methods and their application.
