Senior Security Operations Center; SOC) Analyst

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst to join their team in a fully remote capacity. This role is crucial for the continuous monitoring, detection, analysis, and response to cybersecurity threats and incidents. You will be at the forefront of protecting the organization's digital assets by investigating security alerts, identifying malicious activities, and coordinating response efforts.

• Monitor security alerts and events from various sources, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and EDR systems.
• Perform in-depth analysis of security incidents to determine scope, impact, and root cause.
• Lead and coordinate the response to security incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Develop and refine detection rules, use cases, and monitoring procedures for the SOC.
• Mentor and guide junior SOC analysts, providing technical expertise and support.
• Stay updated on the latest threat intelligence, attack vectors, and mitigation techniques.

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment or similar role.
• Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), EDR solutions, and network analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of cyber threats, attack methodologies, and incident response frameworks.
• Relevant certifications such as GCIH, GCIA, OSCP, or CISSP are highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for effective remote collaboration .
