Senior Telecoms Network Architect

Our client is seeking a visionary Senior Telecoms Network Architect to lead the design and strategic planning of their next-generation telecommunications infrastructure. Operating in a fully remote capacity, you will leverage your deep expertise to architect scalable, resilient, and high-performance networks that underpin our clients' business operations. This role involves translating complex business requirements into robust technical blueprints, evaluating emerging technologies, and guiding implementation teams.

• Lead the architectural design of complex, large-scale telecommunications networks, encompassing routing, switching, wireless, and optical technologies.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network architecture documentation, including high-level designs, low-level designs, and IP addressing schemes.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, solutions, and vendor products to enhance network capabilities and performance.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and product management teams to ensure alignment between business strategy and network architecture.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to network engineering teams.
• Conduct architectural reviews, performance analysis, and capacity planning for future network evolution.

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in telecom network design and architecture .
• Expertise in a broad range of networking technologies, including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, SD-WAN, and cloud networking.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing highly available and fault-tolerant network solutions.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
