Our client is seeking an accomplished Project Manager with expertise in delivering IT Solutions in Polokwane. This hybrid role balances essential in-office collaboration with the flexibility of remote work. You will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of IT projects, from software development and system implementations to infrastructure upgrades, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet technical and business requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead diverse technical teams effectively.
- Manage the planning, execution, and successful delivery of IT projects, including software, hardware, and infrastructure initiatives.
- Coordinate with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring minimal disruption to IT services.
- Oversee system testing, deployment, and user acceptance, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Provide regular project status updates and reports to IT leadership and relevant stakeholders.
- 5+ years of experience in project management , with a strong focus on IT projects and solutions delivery.
- Proven experience in managing software development, infrastructure, or system integration projects.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and software development life cycles.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CompTIA) are a plus.
