Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Cybersecurity Consultant to join their advisory practice, supporting clients remotely and based out of the Mahikeng region. This role involves providing expert guidance to clients on their cybersecurity strategies, risk management, and security program development. You will assess client environments, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend tailored solutions to enhance their security posture. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to leverage their expertise, work with diverse organizations, and drive impactful security improvements across various industries.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity assessments and risk analyses for clients.
- Develop and deliver strategic cybersecurity recommendations and implementation plans.
- Advise clients on best practices for information security, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead security awareness training and workshops for client stakeholders.
- Assist clients in developing and maturing their incident response and business continuity plans.
- Stay abreast of emerging threats, technologies, and regulatory changes impacting cybersecurity.
- Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, consulting, or security management.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Proven experience in risk assessment, threat modeling, and security architecture design.
- Excellent client-facing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership abilities and experience mentoring junior consultants.
