Senior Telecoms Network Security Analyst

Our client is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Telecoms Network Security Analyst to join their fully remote security operations team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for protecting the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our clients' telecommunications networks against evolving cyber threats. You will play a key part in designing, implementing, and managing robust security measures, performing threat analysis, and responding to security incidents.

• Design, implement, and maintain advanced security controls for telecommunications networks, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and SIEM solutions.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and remediate weaknesses.
• Monitor network traffic and security logs for suspicious activity, investigating and responding to security incidents promptly.
• Develop and refine security policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and enhance overall security posture.
• Collaborate with network engineering and IT teams to integrate security measures into network design and operations.
• Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, providing strategic recommendations.

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in network security , with a strong focus on telecommunications environments.
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols, security principles, and common cyber attack vectors.
• Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNA Security, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
