Job Description # Enterprise Managed Container Platform Architect (100% REMOTE)

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* 8+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, cloud architecture, platform engineering, Dev Ops, software engineering, or related technology roles.
* Hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise container platforms using AWS EKS, ECS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
* Strong expertise in Kubernetes architecture, cluster lifecycle management, networking, storage, autoscaling, ingress, DNS, secrets, and workload deployment.
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools including Terraform, Helm, CI/CD pipelines, Git Ops, and configuration management.
* Strong understanding of container security, vulnerability management, image registries, policy enforcement, RBAC, and software supply chain security.
* Experience designing cloud-native monitoring, logging, tracing, observability, and operational support frameworks.
* Proven background in high availability, disaster recovery, backup, restore, and resiliency planning.
* Experience with cloud cost optimization, governance, capacity management, and operational efficiency initiatives.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence technical and business leaders.
* Deep expertise with AWS services including EKS, ECS, ECR, IAM, load balancing, Fargate, and cloud-native observability tools.
* Experience with Argo CD, Git Ops operating models, Harness, Terraform AWS Modules, and automated platform delivery frameworks.
* Knowledge of container networking and security solutions such as Cilium.
* Experience with Karpenter, cluster autoscaling, and capacity optimization tools.
* Experience with enterprise container management platforms such as Rancher, Open Shift, or similar technologies.
* Familiarity with Velero, Kyverno, Open Policy Agent (OPA), Open Telemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Fluent Bit, and Logstash.
* Experience with secrets and certificate management platforms including AWS Secrets Manager, Vault, cert-manager, and Keyfactor.
* Experience building internal developer platforms, platform engineering operating models, and self-service capabilities.
* AWS, Kubernetes, Solutions Architecture, Dev Ops, Security, or related cloud certifications.
* Experience working in regulated industries such as financial services, banking, insurance, or healthcare.
* Deep technical knowledge of Kubernetes and enterprise container platforms.
* Strong cloud architecture and platform engineering expertise.
* Ability to balance security, reliability, scalability, and cost optimization.
* Proven experience driving enterprise-wide standards and technology strategy.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
