Senior Principal Statistician within Johnson & Johnson's Discovery Oncology Statistics team, providing strategic statistical leadership for oncology drug discovery programs.
Responsibilities- Lead statistical strategy, apply advanced modeling, AI/ML, and biomarker analytics to accelerate oncology research;
- Design experiments, analyze high-dimensional data from translational and in vivo studies;
- Foster cross-functional and external collaborations;
- Develop analytics tools and ensure methodological rigor;
- Contribute to scientific publications and presentations.
- PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, or related field;
- Minimum 6 years' experience in pharma/biotech research;
- Expertise in experimental design, modeling, simulation, predictive analytics, and high-dimensional data analysis;
- Proficiency in R and computational workflows;
- Strong influence on scientific/portfolio decisions.
- Oncology drug discovery experience, biomarker-driven decision-making, experience with multi-omics datasets, machine learning, leadership experience, and external collaborations.
- Oncology, translational research, biomarker analytics, AI/ML applications, multi-omics, international travel (10-15%), remote work possibilities.
