What You'll Be DoingNo two days are the same for a Defenced Hacker. One day you’re penetration testing a complex web environment, the next you're assessing vulnerabilities in traffic control systems at a busy intersection. To wrap up the week, you grab your hack kit and see if you can talk your way into a company as part of a social engineering assignment—only to then dive into testing their internal network.
Sounds like a tall tale? Not s is everyday work for a Defenced Hacker.
Your Skill SetA completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
Proven experience in Ethical Hacking (5+ years)
Strong conceptual understanding of security solutions (e.g. firewalls, proxies, IDS/IPS)
Extensive hands‑on experience with Kali Linux or custom-built distributions with curated toolsets
Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Bash, Python, or Power Shell
Relevant certifications such as GPEN, OSCP, OSWE, or OSEP
Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English, written and spoken
