Solution Services Test Manager​/Technical Project Manager Fully Remote; Europe

MLR Associates Ltd is actively seeking an experienced, high-caliber, and results-driven Solution Services Test Manager / Technical Project Manager to lead complex testing and project execution activities within telecommunications core network initiatives on a fully remote contract basis, requiring the candidate to be based in Europe. In this critical technical leadership role, you will be responsible for defining comprehensive test strategies, managing test execution life cycles, coordinating internal teams and third-party partners, and ensuring uncompromised quality project delivery with a strong focus on IMS (Fixed and Mobile) environments.

You will leverage your deep practical expertise in test management frameworks, requirements traceability tools (ALM, JIRA), and rigorous quality checkpoints (TRR/TER) to drive operational excellence across telecom core network deployments.

As a Solution Services Test Manager / Technical Project Manager supporting telecommunications core network projects via MLR Associates Ltd, you will take full operational ownership of test strategy formulation, execution governance, and defects lifecycle tracking. Your day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and assessing project deliverables to identify optimal testing approaches, creating and executing project test strategies involving internal stakeholders and third-party vendors, and ensuring rigorous requirements traceability within test management platforms like ALM and JIRA.

You will provide regular test progress reports during planning and execution phases, manage critical test quality checkpoints including Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) and Test Evaluation Reports (TER), monitor and control test schedules, and drive defect tracking to complete resolution.

• Review and assess complex project deliverables to identify and formulate correct, robust test approaches.
• Create, manage, and execute comprehensive Project Test Strategies incorporating internal teams and third-party vendor partners.
• Ensure rigorous requirements traceability is maintained and tracked within enterprise test management tools such as ALM and JIRA.
• Provide transparent test progress reports, metrics dashboards, and executive updates during test planning and execution.
• Manage critical test quality checkpoints including Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) and Test Evaluation Reports (TER).
• Monitor and control end-to-end test schedules, milestones, and deliverable timelines against project baselines.
• Manage and track defects, issue escalation paths, and re-testing verification workflows through to complete closure.
• Coordinate cross-functional telecom core network stakeholders and ensure adherence to rigorous quality standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 7 to 10+ years of professional IT and telecommunications experience specializing in test management and technical project leadership.
• Extensive hands‑on experience leading testing activities within Telecom Core Network projects, with a strong focus on IMS (Fixed & Mobile) environments.
• Expert-level practical proficiency utilizing test management platforms and enterprise issue trackers (HP ALM, JIRA).
• Proven mastery in defining test strategies, managing TRR/TER quality checkpoints, and overseeing test schedule execution.
• Strong background in requirements traceability matrices, defect lifecycle tracking, and third-party partner coordination.
