Remote Network Administrator

Our client is seeking a dedicated Remote Network Administrator to manage and maintain their IT infrastructure from anywhere. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation, integrity, and security of our company's computer networks. This includes installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network hardware and software, implementing network security measures, and providing technical support to end-users. You will play a vital role in supporting our client's business operations by ensuring robust and reliable network connectivity, enabling productive work environments across the organization, and proactively addressing any potential network vulnerabilities.

• Install, configure, and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize speed and reliability.
• Implement and manage network security measures, including VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls.
• Respond to and resolve network-related incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
• Perform regular network audits and ensure compliance with security policies and industry best practices.

• Proven experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar network support role.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF), and network security principles.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools and network diagnostic utilities.
• Experience with cloud networking concepts (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues remotely.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent experience are highly desirable.
