Graduate IT Support Technician

Our client is seeking a proactive and technically inclined Graduate IT Support Technician for a fully remote position, with operations managed remotely from Sandton . You will provide essential technical support to internal users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems. • Provide remote technical assistance to users for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Diagnose and resolve IT problems efficiently, escalating complex issues when necessary.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
• Manage user accounts and permissions across various IT systems.
• Maintain IT inventory and assist with procurement of new equipment.
• Document technical solutions and user guides for common issues.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware , operating systems (Windows, macOS), and networking concepts.
• Experience with help desk ticketing systems is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, adapted for remote interaction.
