AI Ethics and Governance Specialist

Our client is seeking a highly principled and knowledgeable AI Ethics and Governance Specialist for a fully remote position. This role is critical in ensuring that artificial intelligence systems are developed and deployed responsibly, ethically, and in compliance with relevant regulations. You will play a key role in establishing frameworks, policies, and best practices to guide the ethical use of AI within the organization, contributing to the responsible advancement of AI and Emerging Technologies .

• Develop and implement AI ethics principles, guidelines, and governance frameworks.
• Conduct ethical risk assessments for AI projects and provide recommendations for mitigation.

• Advise development teams on ethical considerations throughout the AI lifecycle.
• Develop training materials and conduct workshops on AI ethics and responsible AI practices.

• Advanced degree in Law, Philosophy, Public Policy, Computer Science, or a related field with a focus on ethics or governance.
• 3+ years of experience in AI ethics, technology governance, regulatory compliance, or a related field.
• Deep understanding of AI technologies, their societal impacts, and ethical challenges.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations and frameworks.
• Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex ethical and legal concepts into practical guidance.
