About the Role
Our client is seeking a vigilant and analytical Blockchain Security Analyst to join their remote team based in Welkom . This critical role involves identifying, assessing, and mitigating security risks associated with blockchain networks, smart contracts, and decentralized applications. You will be at the forefront of protecting our client's digital assets and ensuring the integrity of their blockchain infrastructure. Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive security audits of smart contracts, blockchain protocols, and dApps to identify vulnerabilities.
- Monitor blockchain networks for suspicious activities, exploits, and potential threats.
- Develop and implement security best practices, policies, and procedures for blockchain operations.
- Perform risk assessments and provide actionable recommendations for strengthening the security posture.
- Investigate security incidents, respond to breaches, and assist in recovery efforts.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats, attack vectors, and mitigation techniques within the crypto and blockchain landscape.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years specifically focused on blockchain security .
- Proficiency in analyzing smart contract code (e.g., Solidity) for security flaws.
- Understanding of blockchain technology, cryptography, and common attack vectors.
- Experience with security assessment tools and methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and remotely.
