Remote Network Operations Center; NOC) Technician

Our client is actively seeking a skilled Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician to join their remote team. This role is essential for continuously monitoring the health and performance of our client's extensive telecommunications network, ensuring maximum uptime and rapid response to any service disruptions. You will be the first line of defense, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues before they impact customers.

• Perform 24/7 monitoring of the network infrastructure using sophisticated monitoring tools.
• Detect, diagnose, and respond to network alerts and incidents, escalating issues as necessary.
• Document all network events, actions taken, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and support teams to troubleshoot and resolve network problems.
• Identify recurring issues and propose preventative measures or process improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of network status and operational activities.

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's degree in a technical field is a plus.
• 1-2 years of experience in a NOC environment or in network monitoring/support.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., Solar Winds, Nagios) and network protocols (TCP/IP, SNMP).
• Basic understanding of telecommunications networks and hardware (routers, switches).
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, independent setting and adapt to shift work schedules.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
