Senior Cybersecurity Consultant

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Consultant to provide expert guidance and strategic direction on security matters, operating across the Polokwane region. This role involves assessing security risks, developing tailored security strategies, and overseeing the implementation of advanced security solutions for diverse clients. You will act as a trusted advisor, leveraging your deep technical knowledge and industry experience to enhance client security postures.

• Conduct comprehensive security assessments and risk analyses for clients.
• Develop and present strategic security roadmaps and implementation plans.
• Advise clients on best practices for data protection, network security, and cloud security.
• Oversee the implementation of security controls and technologies.
• Provide expert support during security incidents and forensic investigations.

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC) are essential.
• More than 7 years of experience in cybersecurity consulting or a similar advanced security role.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing robust security programs for various organizations.
• Expert knowledge of security frameworks, threat modeling, and risk management methodologies.
• Experience with cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern security technologies.
• Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
