Security Analyst - Threat Intelligence

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated Security Analyst specializing in Threat Intelligence to join their team, operating remotely to support functions in Queenstown. This role focuses on proactively identifying, analyzing, and reporting on cyber threats that could impact the organization. You will gather intelligence from various sources, assess its relevance and potential impact, and provide actionable insights to the security team and stakeholders.

• Collect, process, and analyze threat intelligence data from diverse sources (e.g., open-source, commercial feeds, dark web).
• Identify emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and threat actor TTPs relevant to the organization's industry and infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain threat intelligence reports and briefings for security teams and management.
• Support incident response efforts by providing timely and relevant threat context.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of threat hunting methodologies and capabilities.
• Monitor geopolitical and cyber threat landscapes for significant developments.

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, International Relations, or a related field.
• Experience in threat intelligence analysis, cybersecurity operations, or a related security role.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms, frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK), and data analysis tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and briefings.
