Information Security Analyst; GRC)

Our client is seeking a motivated Information Security Analyst with a focus on Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) to join their team, offering remote work opportunities supporting operations in Upington . This role is responsible for ensuring that the organization adheres to security policies, industry best practices, and relevant regulatory requirements. You will be involved in risk assessments, policy development, and compliance monitoring activities to maintain a strong security posture.

• Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of information security policies , standards, and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and manage the identification, analysis, and mitigation of security risks.
• Monitor and report on compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., POPIA).
• Support internal and external audits by gathering evidence and documenting control effectiveness.
• Contribute to security awareness training programs and initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in information security , with a focus on GRC.
• Familiarity with GRC frameworks, risk management methodologies, and compliance standards.
