Remote Senior Project Manager - Agile Transformation

Our client is looking for a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead pivotal agile transformation efforts, operating entirely remotely. This role is critical for driving organizational change and optimizing development processes across distributed teams. You will be responsible for defining, implementing, and refining agile methodologies, coaching teams, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, proactive individual with extensive experience in agile environments and a passion for facilitating high-performing, remote-first teams.

• Lead the strategic implementation and ongoing management of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) across various project teams.
• Develop and maintain project roadmaps, backlogs, and release plans in close collaboration with product owners and stakeholders.
• Coach and mentor agile teams, scrum masters, and product owners to enhance their understanding and adoption of agile practices.
• Facilitate all necessary agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Identify and remove impediments hindering team progress and foster an environment of open communication and collaboration.
• Track key agile metrics and provide regular reports on team performance, project velocity, and overall transformation progress.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management , with at least 5 years specifically in agile environments.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex, software development projects using agile methodologies.
• Deep understanding of agile principles, values, and various frameworks.
• Experience with agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Trello.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, adapted for a remote setting.
• Agile certifications such as CSM, CSPO, or PMP-ACP are highly advantageous.
