Lead UX​/UI Designer

Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Lead UX/UI Designer to spearhead their digital product design efforts. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within South Africa . You will be responsible for defining the user experience and interface design for their suite of digital products, ensuring they are intuitive, engaging, and visually stunning.

This role requires a strong leader who can translate complex user needs into elegant design solutions and guide a team of designers to deliver exceptional user-centered products, fostering a culture of remote collaboration and innovation.

• Lead the design and user experience for all digital products, from concept to launch and beyond.
• Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and A/B testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define product strategy and roadmap.
• Mentor and guide a team of UX/UI designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering a high-performance design culture.

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in UX/UI design, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of designing and shipping successful digital products.
• Expertise in user research methodologies, usability testing, and data analysis.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, comfortable working in a remote setting.
